To Conclude...

Kanye West; whether you like him, hate him, think he's way out of line or you're ready to join Yeezianity; has changed the rap/ hip hop genre of music and is continuously shocking the world with what he is not afraid to do. While he is an egocentric person who believes he is a living legend, he is still humble to the reality that being connected with God or a God is important, which is why he references to God in so much of his music. He feels empowered to be connected with God and to promote that connection within his music. He believes you should always be yourself and never stop creating or thriving. Kanye has created a huge following that, when they listen to his music, feel a deep connection to something greater than just existing. This feeling from his music has inspired others to do things like create the Church of Yeezus. Whether or not this can be taken as a serious religious group is up for debate but these people associate Kanye with a God and someone they can trust to help them live a meaningful life.  Social media plays a big part as well in Kanyes following, allowing the public to form opinions and interpret Kanye's lyrics as they please while interviews give us a more in depth look at how he really sees himself. Media outlets such as twitter allow Kanye to reach out to the public while also allowing the public to voice their opinions, such as the examples I have included through out my website of different tweets from real people. Like Kanye said in his explaination of I am a God, we are all Gods because we have the ability to create and the power to do so.
